Martin is co-founder, Chairman, and CEO of Salamanca Group, a London based Merchant Banking business focused on investment, advisory and real estate.

Martin’s passion for real estate spans type and scale and has resulted in the Group investing in and advising on projects across the world. With the experience of purchasing land, developing sites and buying businesses related to the sector, Martin has led Group investments in over 25 residential, commercial and industrial developments in the last 17 years across the UK, Europe, Central and South America, and China.

Two notable projects include; the former ownership and development of a $100million transformation of OneOcean Port Vell, a leading superyacht marina in Barcelona; and, the current ownership and development of a 635-acre site, Gravity, in the South West of the UK. The latter will be developed into a home for the world’s most innovative companies providing a new place of activity for businesses to shape a cleaner, sustainable future.

The Group has received recognition for its investment projects including awards from FX Interior Design, Architizer, Restaurant & Bar Design, Prêmio Master Imobiliário, Platinum Drill, BREEA and Eurobuild, and its Global Fund was shortlisted for Investment Week’s Fund Manager of the Year.

Prior to Salamanca Group, Martin served as an officer in the British Army. He has an MBA from Reading University.
