Dr. Jeanne Lee

Ming Chuan University / Associate Dean of School of Design

Dr. Jeanne Lee earned her Bachelor of Architecture from Rhode Island School of Design, followed by a Master of Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania and a Ph.D. at National Chiao Tung University. Currently, she serves as the Associate Dean of the School of Design, having previously chaired the Architecture Department at Ming Chuan University for nine years. In her role as Director of the Integrated VR Research Center, Jeanne seamlessly integrates rural and Aboriginal services with architectural design, utilizing cutting-edge technologies like VR, AR, and drones. She also holds the position of Director at the Ming Chuan Art Center, where she focuses on research and innovation in arts, design, and architectural design. Jeanne’s extensive involvement spans various competitions and exhibitions, including serving as the IPA & PX3 International Photography Exhibition Curator in 2022 and 2023, The 10th ACARA Finals Jury in 2021, AYDA Jury from 2019 to 2021, IEAGD Taiwan’s Section Host in 2021 and jury in 2023, and Southeast Asia Forum for Architecture Jury and the forum host in 2023. Jeanne is often invited to give lectures at companies or universities and participate in the recording of TV or radio programs. She has previously collaborated on co-teaching courses taught at Waseda University in Japan and KMUTT in Thailand. Additionally, Jeanne contributes to numerous committees, such as being the initiator/General Consultant of Open House Taipei, a member of the Taipei City Government Department of Urban Development for Intelligent Building Review Committee, General Secretary of the AI Drone Association, President of the Chinese Architecture Association, Digital Development Committee Member of the Architecture Institute of Taiwan, Deputy Chairman of the International and Cross-Strait Academic Exchange Committee of the Architecture Institute of Taiwan, and Co-Chair of the AIA Taipei Academic Committee, among other roles.
