Onsen answers the question: what if coming home every day could be as relaxing as a vacation? Set into the hillside and blending European Chalet and Japanese Zen Design, the project is designed to fade into the forest around it. The home is oriented to take advantages of sweeping views to Mt. Mansfield through floor to ceiling windows in the great room. Clad inside and out in Shou Shogi Ban wood and utilizing a muted matte black color palette, Onsen creates a place for meditative living.
