  • About Firm
PASTELLA | BURNS is a full-service architectural, design, and building firm with projects across the U.S. Our bespoke designs echo our clients’ diverse backgrounds and complement their refined lifestyle. Our work is recognizable for its bold and purposeful designs and use of authentic materials. Our work encompasses a wide range of styles including mountain chalets, modern farmhouses, barn conversions, contemporary residences, modern mountain, historic restorations, minimalist homes.

The “Farmstead” project is a modern extension of a historic stone farmhouse in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. This project merges contemporary and traditional design by incorporating modern glass elements to connect the farmhouse’s original spaces. These structures create a seamless transition between the old and new, enhancing the home’s natural surroundings. The design leverages the grade of the land, creating outdoor living spaces with unique visual interest. Farmstead emphasizes harmony between architecture and nature, providing a luxurious yet historically respectful retreat.
