An Oasis House is a dual structured house – an outer, openwork house acting as a screen, shielding the lush inner garden, linked to the outside world through doors, partitions, and moveable glass. Light and air are controlled to create a secure space where the inner house stands without needing a roof or thick walls, as it’s protected by the outer house. Fluid, organic forms inside hide private spaces, while communal areas exist between the outer shell and the inner house. It is a private oasis, connected to nature with varying degrees of privacy.
