  • About Firm
MR STUDIO Co., Ltd., founded in Tokyo in April 2017, specializes in architectural design that identifies and meets the potential needs of each project. The firm handles a wide array of building types, from residential to commercial and cultural facilities, and covers projects from interiors to large urban developments. By incorporating elements like signage, lighting, and landscape into its designs, MR STUDIO creates uniquely contextual and richly sequenced spaces.

This new precut timber factory, designed by Aida Sekkei, features an innovative design with every step of the precut process visible to visitors. The plan includes a floating glass-enclosed viewing corridor approximately 100 meters long, allowing visitors to closely observe the production. The office building is designed with a truss structure using timbers typical for residential homes, creating a vast space that showcases the "factory as a display." The dynamic facade design, exuding a sense of acceleration and speed, aims to symbolize Aida Sekkei's ongoing evolution towards the future.
