Pondering the homeowners' emphasis on daily family life and parent-child interaction, we strategically redesign the layout to make the dining room the hub of the home. Additionally, we expand the mezzanine to provide a full bedroom, bathroom, and study areas on both levels, giving each family member independent private space within the home. To further accommodate the multi-story and open layout, we thoughtfully integrate a lightwell above the entryway, enabling a passage for family members to communicate and pass objects, thereby enhancing the fun and interactive aspect of the space.
