  Eureka is a Hong Kong architectural design studio established in 2011 aiming to create a multi-layered experience. Believer in script-writing and the idea of ‘polytropic’, the studio explores the existed typology and spaces through collecting, changing, redefining and creating situations, and hence the design.

Spark City is a refurbishment of an old Grade-C office building, repositioned into a new energetic neighborhood retail & lifestyle hub, for residents in a regenerating area.

The project’s location is known historically for its thriving rattan industry. Such craftsmanship is becoming rare today, and the property’s design hopes to celebrate rattan crafts in its design details. From the entrance ceiling to lobby surfaces and lighting fixtures, it features custom-designed rattan pieces handcrafted by local artists, that inspires the neighborhood to appreciate this fascinating local craft.
