Designed by GALA Architects with L22, the project aims to reactivate an abandoned quarry in Shenzhen, China. With an ecologically sensitive site situation, the site shows a characteristic landform of mine, surrounded by mountains and a pool generated within. We aim to achieve ecological restoration and low impact development.

The floating circle is inspired by the morphological characteristics of the site. An ultra-luxury hotel, a cultural center and sports center together create an ecological slope that integrates with the environment, and completes the composition of the mountain.
