The space is a combination of American and Chinese elements, mixed colors in a wooden tonal, and oak textures favored by the owner’s father. An American interior style is applied to give the owner, who lived abroad for a long time, a familiar and refreshing sense. In addition, the ceiling has echoed with the several materials that divide each area on the flooring to show continuity and separation. Moreover, the set-up of LED strips has embodied the human nature of phototaxis while softening the towering feeling brought by the column beams to create a refreshing spatial atmosphere.
