  FAs the design director of Interior Quarry, Wei-Chiang Liao has worked in the interior design industry for more than 30 years. He is also a life practitioner and extreme sportsman who loves cooking, painting, iron sculpture, and sailing. Liao believes that life itself is a crazy yet creative performance. With the heart of an artist and outstanding taste, he expresses the grand ambition of global communication through his works.

Learning how to live an environmentally-friendly life is crucial, yet, creating new values that we believe in is what comes next afterward. Considering its location at the center of Taiwan, Yunlin, where the sun is fierce and up high all year round, the designer integrates the weather features into the design to create a comfy and spacious living environment in this relatively narrow site. The designer aims to create a minimalistic working environment that includes both practicality of functions and the imagination of beauty.
