The Kutao Flower Market is the largest and most popular flower market in Qingdao. Surrounded by green-covered mountains, the project aimed to reduce land cutting as much as possible to minimize environmental impact.
The timber-and-aluminum canopies growing from the slope of the mountain, integrated seamlessly into the natural landscape. The roof terraces has panoramic views to the surrounding, which are used for flower trading, community gathering and culture exchange.
It provides not only multi-dimensional shopping experience but also strong sense of community which brings people together.
