  Yasmine is an internationally-renowned architect and interior designer. Her unique holistic approach to design, which merges from human psychology and cutting-edge technology, has resulted in an acclaimed international showcase of award-winning, one-of-a-kind projects. Yasmine is always at the forefront of sustainability and innovation, which is seen by her use of technology and multisensory design in all her projects. She is also a visiting professor at various international hotel schools.

The task was to completely redesign two very outdated beach hotels.As in all our projects I like to find relicts of the past and reinterpret them in a new way. Here I blended the past with the present and made it the theme for the design of both hotels.
As Gorky and Tolstoi wrote some of their world-famous books there,I took their portraits and imprinted them in a pixel-like fashion on wallpaper in the rooms. Their quotes are also printed on the suspended ceilings above the bed. In the other hotel,their portraits appear behind semi-transparent materials behind the bed.
