Architectural firm whose combines architecture, research and innovation. Director of the research Group University of Valladolid Patrimonia (heritage of art, architecture, science, technical, engineering, and history), from June 2005 to the present. Recognized in 2007 as a research group of excellence of Castilla y León, registry GR74. Specialist in Industrial architecture and architectural restoration, with numerous research and awards achieved in relation to Theory and Architectural Projects.

All these estructures look out onto a public space: Platería Plaza, in Santiago de Compostela.
The project and construction took place between 1529, when the first sketches were made, and 1537. The main architect is Rodrigo Gil de Hontañón, although some traces are by Juan de Álava. In 1705, the architect Simón Rodríguez added the spectacular La Concha staircase.
The interior is used as a cultural and exhibition space. The restoration aims to get the purity of lines, the power of the arches in the Treasury Room and the forcefulness of the original ReRenaissance-style palace composition.
