  • About Firm
Mino Caggiula started his career as a construction worker with a degree as professional bricklayer. He then graduated in architecture in Switzerland and studied at the Columbia University NYC with Kenneth Frampton while working for Steven Holl, with whom he won several competitions. In 2010 Mino founded Mino Caggiula Architects in Lugano Switzerland, a well-knit team formed by architects of different paths that deals with the most varied projects, from designer objects to city planning.

Artist Alice Trepp models sculptures with her hands, immortalizing moments in time. The Trepp Studio was developed for a person but also for a place.Located near Origlio, a village overlooking the lake of the same name, Alice Trepp’s Studio is both a place of work and a home.Placed mainly underground, it takes its cue from ancient Greek theaters that were molded to fit into the natural morphology of their context. Built to be part of the landscape, the artist’s studio/home is a shelter from which to contemplate the natural world under the changing light and draw inspiration.
