  Saan Architects is a collective of four architects dedicated to exploring architecture through creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking. The team seeks to approach diverse architectural challenges with fresh perspectives, aiming to craft meaningful spatial experiences that connect people, place, and context.

MianCook is a contextual infill housing prototype built within a decaying yet historically rich neighborhood. It avoids maximizing footprint and instead redefines the private–public boundary to foster social interaction. With a central kitchen as a shared heart, and a soft, flexible threshold connecting home and alley, the project enables everyday engagement between family, guests, and neighbors. It offers a replicable model for socially responsive, small-scale urban additions.
