Fushan Incubation Centre sits in Fushan industrial zone west of Zhuhai. It is not only dedicated to core service of R&D space but also focuses on bringing additional services to the community, which requires a breakthrough of spatial composition for an open and flexible space planning.
We introduced a horizontal slab-building, consisting of office, apartment and supporting retail. This alternative typology generates a more subtle skyline and abundant shared gardens which encourages communication and idea sharing between young start-up companies, thus make it a more vibrant community.
