  GHD Architectural Design Co., Ltd. was jointly established by Greentown China Holdings Limited and several senior designers from the former Greentown Group in 2017. GHD integrates the backbone of Greentown's architectural design team, and adheres to the design spirits of preciseness, innovation and pragmatism. GHD team has rich experience in project design, and has deep insight into architectural design concepts, quality criteria and project management & control modes, etc.

The hotel is located in Jiyang District, Jinan, adjoining a 30,000-sqm city park on the north and the Yellow River on the south. The site embraces both fascinating natural scenery and prosperous urban environment, making it an ideal place for setting up an upscale resort hotel.
With full consideration into local cultural characteristics, the architectural design draws on the architectural style in the Republic of China period (1912-1949) and the quintessence of classical Jiangnan gardens. The overall design showcases an inclusive, simplistic, elegant and distinctive aesthetic.
