  • About Firm
Holzer Kobler Architekturen was established in Zurich in 2004 by Prof. Barbara Holzer and Prof. Tristan Kobler. In 2012, it opened a second office in Berlin. The studio operates internationally and covers a wide spectrum of competences including urban planning, architecture, scenography, and design. A multidisciplinary team made up of architects, designers, graphic artists and curators define the uniqueness-driven functioning in close collaboration with public and private partners.

Green areas are rare in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam). "Colorful Zone" presents itself as an attractive exception. The project emerges as a green cultural and leisure hub in plain air that invites passers-by on the top level with its multifunctional pavilions with cafés and restaurants, on the lower levels with areas for retail, culture, gastronomy, entertainment.
The translucent roof construction is visually stimulating and allows for an activation of the square all year round – it lets enough light through to the lower floors, offers shade from the sun and safety from the heavy monsoon rains.
