The project is located in Wu Yi Road, previous historical concession area of old Shanghai. The lane buildings were originally factory dormitory about 60 years ago and had been abandoned for years due to long time of disrepair. The design not only respected historical features of old architecture,but also brought new life to it with modern design and technology. After renovate, it became cultural center and art studio for artists and public.It also used sustainable materials such as prefabricated wood and recycled material such as abandoned wood and bricks from the old buildings.
