• About Firm
  ‘Hoffenscher Architects’ was founded in the year 2007, restructuring into a Ltd in 2017, in the most western state of Austria, Vorarlberg. Thanks to the unique, emotional architectural language, projects were always greeted with great interest, resonance and sometimes provoking the status quo. These projects include all aspects of architecture such as property development, residential or office complexes, private residences and developing corporate identities, interior and furniture design.

Maselli Strickmoden, a producer of knitwear, decided to redevelop their former HQ property in Dornbirn. The decision was made to remodel one Factory building, creating space for 25 rental properties including a co-working space, and building 3 new buildings, with a total of 31 apartments. The garden, holding 4 relocated Linden trees, reaches through openings into each building. The balconies flow and its interwoven, free-standing double supports, mimicking a knitting pattern, create the façade.
