The seaside duplex apartment of Yanlord Marina Center is located in Zhuhai, a littoral city with developing potentials. As a representative of the city, the project merged both marine culture and oriental spirit into the spatial structure, which affected the design strategy of the interior. To dramatize the sea view, the structure, layout and functions were re-organized, hence creating various interactions between dwellers and the sea. What decorated the interior space are abstract patterns related to the sea, composing an ocean-themed poetic space, and echoing the architecture and city.
