• About the interior design firm
  bfa_barbara fassoni architects is a London-based architecture and design studio founded in 2015. We are currently involved in various projects in Italy and the UK for private and commercial clients. Our projects are developed from a series of ideas that enrich each project, no matter how large or small. We work closely with our clients, using their involvement as enriching and required contributors to each project.

Located in Courmayeur, at the foot of the southern side of Mont Blanc, this small flat is conceived as a simple wooden volume, characterized by a modern and minimalist design with which every single element has been designed. The neutral colours and natural materials –among which the oak of the flooring and custom-made furnishings– are punctuated by a few chromatic touches as well as by designer furnishings. Wood and stone are used to preserve the typical feeling of alpine homes. Vertically mounted saw-cut oak planks cover the walls and ceilings, framed by black wooden boxes.

bfa_BARBARA FASSONI ARCHITECTS is a London-based architecture and design studio founded in 2015. Our work encompasses architecture, interior design, landscaping and product design. We are currently involved in a diverse range of projects in the UK and abroad for private, commercial and companies. We work closely with our clients using their evolvement as enriching and required the contributor to each project. At the heart of our studio’s work is a commitment to finding innovative design solutions that are imaginative, pragmatic and add value and delight.
