  Atelier DYML is a multidisciplinary and international architectural design firm founded in 2015 in Shanghai. We are a group of passionate designers with unorthodox thinking seeking unique design concepts and creative solutions.We have the knowledge and experience to strive for economic &social viabilities in our design, especially in complexed mixed use and urban renewal projects. We strongly believe that an outstanding architecture design is an assimilation of its time, place, and people.

Back in the 80’s, the site was once a cement production plant and then was demolished to a Footwear Wholesale Plaza around 2000.In 2018, Yuexiu Property approached DYML as the lead architect to convert the existing building into a regional shopping landmark that will fill the huge retail void in neighboring districts.From a holistic approach towards the program, architectural design and space planning, we arrived at the Design Concept METAMORPHOSIS, it transforms the current big boxes into a series of fun, meaningful spaces, a joyful shopping destination and an iconic landmark of the community
