Kaiyuan Senbo Resort is located at the site of the Cross Lake Bridge. Facing the lake with hills on the back, it boasts 42% primary forest coverage and 16% secondary forest coverage. It is flat in the west, and gently high in the east. The world's earliest colored pottery was unearthed in the place. The landscape is designed to extract classical patterns, i.e., the sun and flame patterns, in the local colored pottery. It also uses weathering resistant steel, a material with similar colors and indigenous cultural symbols, to present a historical texture.
