• About Firm
  ORIA focuses on public building, space and art installation design, with offices in Shanghai and Paris. The practice is named after a Latin root word "ORI" meaning "begin, rise", which expresses our curiosity about the original context of "construction". The derived meaning of the word, such as "direction, originality", indicates the realms we hope to touch on.

The project is located in Erqi District, which covers Zhengzhou's major central and southwest area within 10km and enjoys outstanding traffic advantages.
The design aimed to fuse the massing and the park functionally and visually, and turn the building into an attractive highlight of the park whilst satisfying the functions for property selling and future community recreational activities. Visually the massing replicates the form of a boat sailing on the sea, which echoes the residential development' vision and theme - "Pioneering voyage".
